  • Rates vary for exclusive booking of Hut/Cottage/Executive Cottage/Executive Room i.e. for single occupancy, trips with private transfers and cruise, etc.
  • All guests must abide by the rules and regulations of the resort.

GUARANTEE POLICY

  • 100% Advance i.e. a 100% cash deposit must guarantee all confirmed reservations.
  • We reserve the right to release non-guaranteed reservations.

PROOF OF IDENTITY

  • Foreign National Guests: Need to carry Original Passport and Visa for Forest Permission. Scanned Copy of the same should be emailed to Kolkata Office (kolkata@waxpolhotels.com)
  • Indian National Guests: Need to carry Original Government approved Identity Card (Driving License/Aadhar Card/Passport/Voters ID card) of each and every residing guests, including children. The same has to be submitted at the time of check-in. Please note that pan card will NOT be accepted as a photo ID.

Guests will not be allowed to check-in and the entire amount paid will be forfeited in case they are not able to produce a valid id. Their transfer cost back to kolkata will be additional and will not be covered by the resort.

MEALS

  • 1 Night 2 Day (1 Breakfast + 2 Lunch +1 Evening Snacks + 1 Dinner).
  • 2 Nights 3 Day (2 Breakfast + 3 Lunch + 2 Evening Snacks + 2 Dinners).

Any Day Departure (per day booked includes 1 Breakfast + 2 Lunch + 1 Evening Snacks + 1 Dinner).

A fixed menu is served; guests may choose to order from the al-a-carte menu at an additional cost.

EXTRA ADULT POLICY
Extra Adult will be charged as per extra adult rates.

CHILD POLICY

  • Children of 6 years of age and above are considered as Adults.
  • Children 0-05 years are Complimentary without extra bed and fixed meals as per resort menu (sharing bed and seats during transfers and safari with parents). No snacks packed will be provided during bus journey.
  • Extra Bed charges will apply (if requested for).

APAI DOES NOT INCLUDE

  • Rates do not include beverages, mineral water and camera charges at destination
  • Rates do not include any extra food or beverage ordered not included in the package.
  • Rates do not include forest entry fees.
  • Rates do not include any activity not mentioned in the inclusions.

FOREST DEPARTMENT CHARGES

  • For Current Safari, Entry Charges send us an email and we will revert back.
  • Foreigners and Indian Tourist Entry Fees for entry into the Park are extra and vary for different areas of the National Park.
  • Camera Fees are applicable for Still Camera, Video Camera and Professional Movie Camera.
  • Forest Department Charges may change from time to time.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Cancellation made by 25 days or ahead will be charged 50% retention. Cancellation made after that will attract 100% retention (no refund).
  • No refund is applicable for no show.
  • No refund for unused nights or early checkout.
  • No refund for cancellation on booking from 15 December’17 – 15 January’18.
  • In case the guest has an International bank account, and then any bank charges applicable are to be borne by the customer. We will remit the amount as per our cancellation policy.
  • Prior to confirming all bookings, we request all guests to please go through our “TERMS and CONDITIONS”, and “Proof of Identity” at the top.

REFUND POLICY

  • In case of any cancellation, refund takes minimum 15-20 working days for the refund to be processed and to get credited in the guests’ bank.
  • In case of refund, bank transactions will be deducted above cancellation charges.
  • In case of credit card transactions, refund will be done only to the same credit card.

CREDIT CARD BOOKINGS

In order to avoid credit card frauds, guests are requested to note the following:
In case the booking is made using credit card, guests are requested to carry the following documents at the time of Check In:
-If the Credit card holder is the guest or one of the guests, then the credit card will have to be produced at the time of Check In.
-If the Credit Card holder is not one of the guests, then a copy of the credit card (both front and back), self-attested by the credit card holder should be produced at the time of Check-In. In addition to this, it is also required to produce a letter, signed by the credit card holder, authorizing the use of the credit card for the booking of the room. The letter should mention the names of the guests, date of travel, property and room type. This letter, along with the self-attested copy of the credit card will have to be submitted at Check In desk.
At the time of submitting the credit card copy, please ensure that the CVV number on it is blacked out. (CVV Number is a three-digit number at the reverse side of the credit card, at the end of the signature panel).
In case the guests do not produce the above documents, Hotel reserves the right to deny the reservation. In such case no refund (except for the taxes) will be given to the guest.
In case of erroneous/inadequate /misleading information given while booking, Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking without any intimation.

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE RESORT

  1. By booking/making reservation of the tour the guest agrees to comply with all the rules and regulations of the resort.
  2. The entire tour in case of exclusive/any day departure at Sunderban Tiger Camp (STC) includes accommodation and meals at the Resort. Travel to and fro by Road, River Transport has to be booked separately at an additional cost.
  3. Incase of fixed departure the entire tour from Kolkata to Sunderban Tiger Camp (STC) and back to Kolkata includes fixed meals, travelling by road and river transport and the stay at the Resort.
  4. In order to make the tour most enjoyable and for the safety and security of all concerned it is Mandatory for each and every Tourist/Guest to abide by the following Rules and Regulations. During the tour the tourist (s) are requested not to create any nuisance such as to disturb, irritate or annoy the other tourist (s) and will cooperate fully with the Sunderban Tiger Camp staff in order to maintain peace and harmony.
  5. It is vital that the serenity of the Sunderban National Park is maintained. Hence, carrying any sort of music system is strictly prohibited.
  6. Consumption of Alcohol drinks is allowed only at the specified areas.
  7. It will be the sole responsibility of the tourist(s) to take care of their children during the entire tour.
  8. In case of any accident and/or unseemly incident, Sunderban Tiger Camp or its staff members cannot be held responsible.
  9. Neither the tourist(s) nor any other person shall have the right of action claim, whatsoever against Sunderban Tiger Camp or its staff members in respect of any injury whether fatal or otherwise.
  10. Sunderban Tiger Camp or its staff members will not be responsible for any inconvenience or delay to the tourist (s) howsoever and whatsoever caused, or of any loss or damage to the tourist (s) and/his property, howsoever/whatsoever caused.
  11. For the Safety and Security of the tourist (s) and the staff members, Sunderban Tiger Camp reserves the right and may be compelled to debar tourist (s) from any tour during its pendency. This clause shall also be applicable to those tourist (s) who fail to comply with any of the foregoing rules and regulations.
  12. It is compulsory for all guests to produce a valid government approved identity card for checking in into Sunderban Tiger Camp, absence of identity card for any individual may result in barring them entry into the resort. In such case they will have to organize their transfer back to Kolkata at an additional cost, which will not be covered by the resort. Kindly see “Proof of Identity” for what documents are allowed.
  13. In case of any unsolicited fault of the vehicle substitute vehicle arranged may not be qualitatively similar.
  14. All disputes are subject to Kolkata jurisdiction.

SWIMMING POOL
Kindly carry your swimwear to enjoy our swimming pool during your stay.
Guests may only enter the pool with proper swimwear. Swimming Pool: Person in the water must wear acceptable swimsuits. Candy, food & beverages are not allowed in the Pool area. No glass items, chewing-gum or smoking is permitted in the pool area

SPA
Any Spa reservation if required should be made in advance and is subject to availability.

SAFARI
Jeep Safari bookings are done online and we shall require ID proof details of all guests in order to secure Safari bookings in advance. Once booked, there will be no refund on Jeep Safari cancellation.
All safaris are on shared basis unless stated otherwise.
The Park is closed after 12 Noon on every Wednesday.

VISITOR POLICY
Please note that maximum of 2 non resident visitors are allowed in the rooms before 2100 hrs., and post 2100 hrs. no outside visitors will be allowed in the rooms
