Cooking Wild With Chef Michael Swamy

Chef Michael Swamy is a celebrated chef, author, food & wildlife photographer and a well known personality in India. He campaigns for wildlife preservation as well as conservation of Indian regional cuisine and culture. His particular passion for nature and wildlife has taken this chef out of kitchen confines and led him to create a genre of food inspired by nature, one part of which is curating culinary experiences in the wild.

Chef Michael’s curated culinary experiences take a look at how food can be created in sync with nature, without disturbing the subtle harmony. He not only demonstrates cooking techniques, which are earthy and rustic, but also explains concepts like foraging, which goes a long way in saving the environment

‘Waxpol Resorts’ has partnered with Chef Michael Swamy to offer a unique culinary experience that showcases the local regional cuisine made using indigenous produce. Each experience is curated in the wilderness-taking participants on a unique journey where they leave behind a busy tech world and enter the world of the jungle.

Waxpol Hotels & Resorts and Chef Michael Swamy will also collaborate to organise food festivals that showcase the local produce and recipes. These festivals will also feature local artisans and create awareness about Sustainable Tourism.
